Volunteer Info
Please review the information below when volunteering with us.
Please click to read the full liability waiver before attending an event. Registration implies acknowledgment and agreement of the volunteer liability waiver.
- Inclement weather: Our events are held in rain or shine. If weather conditions are unsafe to be in, we will contact volunteers and let them know the event is canceled as soon as possible.
- Restrooms: We cannot guarantee access to restrooms at the event site.
- Recommended Clothing: Long pants are recommended as you may be kneeling on the ground. All volunteers need closed-toed shoes or boots and clothes that can get dirty.
- Tools & Gloves: Cool Green Trees provides gloves and all necessary tools, but please feel free to bring your own.
- Drinking Water: Cool Green Trees will provide water for all volunteers. However, we do ask that you bring your own water in a reusable water bottle.
- Allergy Medication: If you’ve experienced life-threatening allergic reactions to insects, please come prepared with your own emergency medicine, such as an auto-injector or oral medication. Please notify the coordinator of your need for medication in the case of an allergic attack.
- You may also want to bring: Sunscreen and bug spray as needed; snacks as needed.
